working with students, faculty and staff, student activities hosts an array of cultural, educational, philanthropic, social and student leadership development events and programs. Annually, the Office of student activities is responsible for the fall & spring Welcome Week events, fall & spring graduation celebrations, Spirit Day, Homecoming Week, Rev. dr. martin luther king jr. celebration, black history month, women's history month, and spring fling week.
here in student activities, we believe that your commitment to academic excellence, along with your involvement on campus significantly enhances your overall learning experience while at chicago state university. furthermore, getting involved on campus helps fuel a healthy and vibrant social life and helps you develop and sharpen the critical skills you'll need to be successful in the career path you've chosen. let us help you get involved we invite you to stop by the student activities center at your earliest convenience. when you come, our staff will tell you about ways to get involved with the student government association (SGA), the host of Clubs & Organizations currently on campus or other opportunities that may peak your interest. you'll also learn about the events we're planning for students, awesome volunteer opportunities, as well as the host of other academic and student support resources available to you on campus. in addition to all of that, you can simply stop by the center to eat your lunch and/or chill-out between classes.
